Keeping it In the Family - Fathers/Sons Who Represented Forest

With the news Tyler Walker is looking to make this his breakthrough season it got me thinking of any other examples of keeping it in the family and seeing a father / son crossover.

Apart from the obvious Des Walker, Tyler Walker father son cross over that’s making its debut soon there have been a few others. These are off the top of my head. If you know anymore, please let me know

The Cloughs
Obvious this one, one was managing, one was playing, at a successful period. Brain or Nigel should not need any introduction to most football fans never mind Forest ones. Brian famously wouldn't ever refer to Nigel as son or even Nigel when with the club, merely referring to him as his no. 9.

The Faircloughs
Chris played for us in the early 80's and came back to be a coach under Billy Davies before departing the club. He was from Nottingham originally and his career took him to Spurs, Leeds and Bolton. His son Jordan was on the youth team books, but got released at age 19 in 2010. He then bounced around non-league and looks to be currently without a club.

The Gemmills
Like the Cloughs in terms of timescales and Archie being on the clubs staff when Scot was emerging as a player. Archie both played and coached at forest, being a player in the successful European years, and then coaching later in the late 80's. Scot came through the ranks, and played in the midfield for several years before moving to Everton. Both were Scottish internationals.

The Grays
Frank spent a few years with us in the glory days era, from 1979 to 1981. He was a Scottish international. His son would later sign for us from Leeds in the mid 90's, and was a fringe player for a few years before he moved on

.

The Walkers
potentially the next father son team. Des needs little or no introduction. A lynchpin of the defence for years in two spells, and later a coach for the club, he is a Forest legend. His son Tyler, although having the same pace his father had is an attacker. He is looking to make his breakthrough this season.

The Wrights
A slightly tricky one, but still a sort of father son combo. And slightly tenuous. Ian Wright played a number of games on loan for Forest at the start of 1999. He then left when he joined Celtic. Shaun Wright-Phillips, his adopted son, was on the books of Forest till 17, before we famously released him for being too small. So although not completely a father son combo in the traditional sense, we'll still include this in the list. (And though Shaun never actually played for the Reds)
